This page describes how Planwise Bench currently handles data based on the shipping preview implementation. Retention periods, formal guarantees, compliance certifications, and additional contacts are not stated here unless verified in code or configuration. Open decisions are marked as draft.
Who we are

What this product does
Planwise Bench is a browser-based planning draft tool. It does not connect to or post into SAP. Exports and work packs are files or print views you create in your browser.
Data we collect (as implemented)
- Waitlist form (home page): When you submit the waitlist, the worker accepts a POST to
/api/waitlistand, if storage is configured, writes a Cloudflare KV record under theWAITLISTbinding. The stored JSON includes: email (required), optional name (truncated), ISO timestamp, and the request User-Agent string. A honeypot field is ignored (no store) when filled. Invalid emails are rejected and not stored. - App drafts and preferences (your browser only): The app uses
localStoragekeys such as plan autosave (pwb-mvp), site reference lists and defaults (via the site-store module), and theme preference (pwb-theme). These stay on your device unless you clear site data. - Hosting / delivery: The site is served on Cloudflare Pages (with a Pages worker for the waitlist API and routing). Standard edge request logs may exist at the host; exact log fields and retention are controlled by Cloudflare and are not asserted here (draft decision — confirm with account settings before production).
What we do not do (based on current code)
- We do not claim SAP integration, LSMW, or Winshuttle load in this preview.
- We do not invent lubricant grades or site material numbers; planners enter site-approved values.
- This draft does not claim GDPR/CCPA readiness, SOC 2, or similar certifications.
Retention and deletion
Draft decision — not coded as a published retention schedule. Waitlist KV entries persist until an operator deletes them in the Cloudflare account. Browser localStorage persists until you clear it. No self-service deletion UI ships in this preview.
Sharing
Waitlist data is stored in the project’s Cloudflare KV binding for operator use (early-access contact). No other third-party marketing pixel or analytics SDK is wired in the preview HTML/JS reviewed for this draft. If that changes, this page must be updated before production.
Children
Planwise Bench is aimed at industrial planners and is not directed at children.
Changes
This draft may change. A final policy for production requires Clinton review and explicit publication approval. Until then, treat this page as preview guidance only.
